Tree of Strings

Tree of Strings is a new, charitable music project in the South West. We offer education in local schools, support for emerging artists and inspiring events in unique venues in rural communities. Your donation helps us to turn this vision into a programme from 2026 onwards.

Why your support matters

At a time when provision for music is shrinking, we bring together education, development and performance, to nurture young talent and inspire new audiences.

From May to October, we will present events in remarkable venues across Dorset and the South West, starting with a three-day summer festival in Abbotsbury. At the heart of it all are young soloists and ensembles at the beginning of their careers, sharing stages with experienced artists.

Your support also helps us to deliver workshops and creative projects in local schools, giving children and young people the chance to experience live music up close, often for the very first time. Every donation – large or small – helps us to make this work possible.
