FAQ

We’re flexible. Some roles are focused around festival days and one-off events, others are occasional tasks across the year. Tell us what your schedule is like and we’ll match you with something that works.

Not at all. Some volunteers love music and play themselves, others simply enjoy being part of a welcoming team. The main things we look for are reliability, kindness and enthusiasm.

Most roles are linked to concerts and projects in the South West, including venues around Dorset and neighbouring counties. As the festival grows, we’ll share new opportunities in different locations.

Many roles are suitable for adults of all ages. Some front-of-house and backstage roles may require volunteers to be 18+. If you’re younger or have a specific question, just mention it on the form and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

Yes. We want volunteering to be as inclusive as possible. If you share any access needs or questions on the form, we’ll do our best to find a role and setting that feels comfortable for you.

For some roles we may be able to offer support with local travel or refreshments. Details can vary by project, so we’ll explain what’s available when we get in touch about specific opportunities.
